In my experience teaching golf for the
last 25 years, I have found that the best way to communicate the
swing to students is to keep things simple. Giving complex information
causes tension, which is a major reason for poor performance.
There are numerous methods of instruction and using only one method
seems to limit the effectiveness of the teacher. Not all golfers
swing the same way. The difference in physical make up of people,
as well as the mental and emotional aspects of each individual makes
it necessary to adapt your teaching.
